Peanut Butter Power Smoothie

 

A perfect post-workout smoothie is our Peanut Butter
Power Smoothie.  It's loaded with protein and nutrients to get you through the day. Smoothies are a great way to help you get your daily recommended amount of vegetables.

  • 1 scoop of dark chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter cup nut butter
  • 1/2 cup of kale
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon or 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  • Almond Milk, Ice Cubes or Water for desired consistency

By adding a flavored nut butter to a smoothie containing vegetables, you can mask the leafy, bitter taste. If you can still taste the kale, you can add an additional ½ tablespoon of nut butter or ½ a banana.
